Equilibri integrates the practice of qigong to alleviate stress in our everyday lives, both instantaneously and long-term, through a product-based system.
Equilibri’s discreet biometric-sensing wearable enables users to preemptively make adjustments to a stress reaction. Equilibri also utilizes auriculotherapy, based in traditional Chinese medicine, to address stress and anxiety.

Nearly half of all young adults living in the US report experiencing severe anxiety, and many don’t have the tools to manage it. Therapy and medication are often the first treatment. However, therapy can be effective, but not always accessible, and medication can have side effects and doesn’t address the problem from the root.

research questionsQigong is a proven ancient Chinese exercise that optimizes energy within the body, mind, and spirit. This energy is referred to as “qi”. This practice is effective, as it addresses the cause of our physical and emotional imbalances, rather than the symptoms, through regulation of the mind, breath, and body movement.
It’s well-known in the medical community that the majority of our illnesses and disease are caused by the stresses of our everyday lives, which leads to anxiety. Qigong helps the body to repair the damage caused by stress by filling it with a continual supply of qi energy. When the energy in your body flows properly, your body can operate optimally.
The slow movements of Qigong are also a very meditative practice, so doing them creates peace in your entire being.
